LOAN
REPAYMENT ASSISTANCE
The
Province of British Columbia and goverment of Canada offer a
number of programs to assist former students in repaying their
BC Student Loans.
Interest
Relief—You
will not have to make payments for 6 months, up to a maximum
of 30 months.
Principal
Deferment—Borrowers
approved for this program are required to make only the interest
payments on their loans. The principal portion of the payment
is deferred.
Extended
Amortization—Your
monthly BCSL payment can be lowered by extending the amortization
period.
