Excel Career College and Jet FM announce Career Idol 2!

This is your chance to change your life - all you gotta do is tell us how much you need it!

On June 28th, Jet FM will be live on location at Excel Career College, and we will give you the opportunity to express in 30 seconds or less why you deserve a full bursary with for the Long Term Care Aide program!

We will record all the clips and post them on jetfm.ca for the public to vote for their favorite candidate. You can sing a song, pour out your heart, recite a poem - get creative! Whatever you think will help you win a chance to change your life!

CONGRATULATIONS to DENISE EIGLER!

Denise won Excel Career College's $500 bursary from a draw that was held at the Comox Valley Education and Career Fair.

CONGRATULATIONS to our CAREER IDOL Winner!

After two weeks of heavy competition and public voting, talented artist Heather Pagee has been crowned EXCEL's CAREER IDOL. Pagee was one of 15 contestants who submitted their personal artwork in the JET FM/Excel Career College radio promotion in hopes of winning a $12,000 bursary for the Digital Design Program. Student services spokesperson, Michelle Annand says that "Excel Management was overwhelmed by the talent that surfaced throughout the contest and by the public interest."

Career Idol will definitely take place again. A big congratulations to ALL of our EXCEL participants and loyal JET FM listeners!
