The
Valley's first Career Ido
l
winner is ready to show off her skills at the Island's Best Rock
station, Jet FM. The self-taught Campbell River artist never believed
that she would be able to enjoy her art skills full time let alone
make a career of it until winning the contest in April 2008.
Heather's
artwork won her a $12,000 full bursary to the digital arts program
at Excel and after a lot of learning and hands-on experience,
she is ready to begin her practicum at the radio station. Good
